They have practised safe knife skills, learned how to use the hob safely, and explored the importance of simmering ingredients to create a delicious, vegetable-packed dish. Alongside their practical work, students have been learning about the key nutrients our bodies need to stay healthy, including carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals, fibre and water. They have been exploring the importance of a balanced diet and how incorporating a variety of vegetables into meals can contribute to a healthy lifestyle. 13 Likes
